2008 Rescue Demo

The above unit is our rescue demo for 2008.  It is on a Ford F550 4x4 chassis with the ambulance package and air conditioning.  We have installed stainless steel nerf bars, a chrome exhaust extension, and stainless steel simulators on it as well.   A Federal Vector lights bar is installed on the roof and Federal LEDs have been in stalled in the grille and as intersection lights on the fenders.

The body is our standard "brake and bend" aluminum construction using 5052-H32 aluminum plate that is 1/8" thick and installed on a structural steel sub-frame.  (for more detailed information about our bodies, click here.)  ROM brand roll-up doors are installed on all compartments and connected to individual compartment lights.  Each compartment has Uni-Strut channels installed for adjustable shelving and a total of four adjustable shelves are installed on the unit, two in each rear side compartment.  Four SCBA brackets are installed in the compartment above the wheels on the driver's side.  Federal LED lights have been installed high and at each end of the body as well as one above the rear wheels.  Also visible in the above picture are the dual head Federal scene lights.  There are a total of six of these scene lights, two on each side and two on the rear.  A Cast Products fuel fill pocket is located just ahead of the rear wheels.

From this side you can see the 4000 watt, electric start, gasoline generator.  It is connected to a circuit breaker box in the same compartment which supplies power to the two electric rewind cord reels and the four telescoping lights.  The lights are Akron brand "push-up" style with the remote-tilt option which allows the user to stay on the ground while swiveling the head up and down and all around.  This is also a good shot of the front, transverse compartment which is empty and ready for your department to customize to your needs.

The roll-out tray in the rear compartment is approximately 6' long, has a 2000 pound capacity and will extend to the very edge of the compartment opening.  We have installed two electric rewind, hydraulic reels.  Each is plumbed for twin hoses.  There is an LED Signal Stick mounted above the rear door that is controlled from the driver's position as are the scene lights.  All lights on the body are LED with the exception of the scene lights and compartment lights.  The receiver hitch is just visible in the center of the rear step.

In addition to all of the above, the entire interior of the body is coated with SpeedLiner truck bed liner to ensure a pleasing appearance for years to come.  Last, but certainly not least, the unit has been painted with PPG's finest paint by PPG certified painters and qualifies for their 7 year nation wide warranty.

Should your department purchase this unit, we will be happy to letter the doors with your department name to match the simulated gold leaf on the body.
