Star "Interceptor" model 8400 light bar.
This 46" long light bar is a "best buy" type of bar. The length is ideal for full size vehicles, both cars and trucks. This light bar has a total of four (4) rotators, two 160 FPM (flash per minute) fast and two 80 FPM standard speed. The fast rotators are on the ends. The center section contains a diamond shaped mirror and there is a diamond shaped mirror between each pair of rotators.
This light bar is the least expensive, full size light bar that we stock. As with all bars in our showroom, it is wired for display and evaluation. When we switch it on, it is surprising how good of a light pattern it emits. Since there are four rotators operating at two different speeds and twelve reflective surfaces, the light pattern is extremely busy.
The overall height on a flat surface is about 7". Please note the shape of the mounting brackets. They are designed to be able to extend far enough that they can be mounted low on the curve of a vehicle roof which will bring the overall mounted height down to as low as 5" on some vehicles.
We have installed several of these bars for our customers and they all seem to be pretty happy with their purchase. Installation is simple and straightforward. Extra wires are provided in the cord which will allow the addition of other features at a later date.
