We stock and sell Key brand, double jacketed, 800 pound test fire hose in the following sizes: 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2-1/2", and 3". You can rest assured our hose will be up to the task for many years to come. Key is so confident of this product it has a 10 year warranty. All double jacketed hose we stock is tested by the manufacturer to 800 PSI and requires a 400 PSI service test. Both jackets are made of polyester material which means it will not have to be dried after every use to prevent mold and mildew. The liner is made from EPDM rubber. (Click here to learn about EPDM rubber.) COLORS: The outer jacket of double jacket hose can be impregnated with a ploymer material that will greatly increase the abrasion resistance. This material is available in the following colors: yellow, orange, red, blue and green. (We only stock untreated white and treated yellow in 2-1/2" and 3" sizes.) The impregnation will add slightly to the weight and will also make the hose slightly more rigid and harder to fold when new but, if you frequently drag your hose across rough surfaces it is a good idea. Another use for colored hose is to "code" discharges such as a designated foam crosslay. Here are the specs for our double jacketed fire hose.
