The pump is a CET model PFP-21HP-DSL-MR, midrange unit driven by a Kubota diesel engine. The tank has a capacity of 500 gallons and is fabricated from polypropylene co-polymers to last a lifetime. Besides having generous storage in the body compartments there is additional storage in the walkway compartments.
The extended front bumper has a hose well with a 1-1/2" preconnect valve. The Akron FireFox monitor and the valve to supply it are controlled from the driver's position by a joystick. The Akron/Weldon Diamonback warning lights can be easily seen from this shot as well.
The top mount control panel has been kept as clean as possible to reduce confusion. Black vinyl has been installed to reduce glare and enhance looks. The valve handles have a locking feature that only takes a squeeze to operate.
We have already installed adjustable height shelving in most of the compartments but you might want to add more. Also, the interiors are coated with Speedliner to make sure your truck will take the abuse and look nice for years to come.
The rear compartment has not been fitted with a shelf in case your department would like us to install a booster reel in it. A preconnect hose bed can be seen on the right side of the hose bed. The black bar beneath the hose bed is an LED directional stick. As you can see by the pictures, this unit is ready to serve you or can easily be further customized to meet your department's needs.
